Concrete questions, answered straight

The questions every Charlotte homeowner asks us — answered the same way we'd answer on your driveway.

How much does concrete work cost in Charlotte?

Most projects we quote — driveways, patios, walkways — land between $4,000 and $9,000, with small pads near our $2,000 minimum and large stamped or structural work above the range. Every quote is free, written and itemized after we see the site.

How fast can I get a quote?

Submit the form or call and you'll hear from us fast — we confirm by text within minutes during business hours, then schedule a site visit. Most written quotes go out within a couple of days of the visit.

How long does a typical project take?

Most residential projects take 2–4 days on site: demo and base prep, the pour, then joints and finishing. Concrete needs about a week before vehicles drive on it, and reaches full design strength around 28 days.

Will the crew tear up my yard?

Concrete work needs equipment access, and we're honest about that — but we plan access routes ahead, protect what we can, and leave the site clean and graded. Restoring the work area's edges is part of the job, not an extra.

What happens if it rains?

We don't pour into rain — concrete quality comes first. If weather threatens your pour date we reschedule, usually within days. Base prep and demo can often continue in damp conditions, so most projects stay close to schedule.

How does payment work?

You approve a written quote first — no verbal numbers. A deposit secures your spot on the schedule and the balance is due when the work is finished and you've walked it with us. We never ask you to pay in full up front.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — Rhino Concrete is a Charlotte-based, family-owned company, fully insured, and every project is backed by a written workmanship warranty. You deal directly with the owners, not a call center.

Do you have a project minimum?

Yes — our minimum project is $2,000. That covers most pads, walkways and small patios. If your project is smaller, bundling it with other work (a pad plus a walkway, for example) is often the most cost-effective route.

When can I use my new concrete?

Foot traffic is fine after 24–48 hours. Keep vehicles off driveways for about 7 days. Furniture can go on patios after about a week. Full design strength arrives around 28 days — we'll give you exact guidance at your walkthrough.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Charlotte and work across the metro: Matthews, Mint Hill, Concord, Huntersville, Waxhaw, Indian Trail and surrounding communities. If you're nearby, ask — we'll tell you straight whether your address is in our range.

Service-specific questions are answered on each service page: Concrete Driveways · Concrete Patios · Stamped Concrete and more.
