Concrete Repair in Charlotte, NC

Some concrete can be saved; some is past it. We'll tell you which yours is — plainly. Surface damage, spalling and isolated cracked sections can often be repaired or re-poured in place. Slabs that have failed structurally are usually cheaper to replace than to keep patching, and we'd rather tell you that up front than sell you a repair that won't hold.

Clean re-poured broom-finish concrete slab at a Charlotte home

How we build it

Step 1

Assessment

We look at what failed and why — base washout, tree roots, thin pour, bad joints — because patching a symptom wastes your money.

Step 2

Repair plan

Honest recommendation: targeted repair, partial section replacement, or full re-pour, each quoted in writing.

Step 3

The work

Cut-outs, re-pours and resurfacing done with the same base correction and finishing standards as new work.

Step 4

Prevention

We fix the cause — drainage, base, joints — so the repair lasts instead of reopening next winter.

Concrete Repair: cost in Charlotte

Small targeted repairs start near our $2,000 project minimum; section replacements scale with area. When repair costs approach half of replacement, we'll recommend replacing — it's more concrete for your money and a surface that lasts decades instead of seasons.

Concrete Repair — common questions

Can cracked concrete be repaired, or does it need replacement?

Hairline surface cracks and isolated damage can often be repaired. Wide, moving, or settled cracks usually mean the base failed underneath — patching those is temporary, and we'll recommend replacing the affected section instead.

Why did my concrete sink?

Usually the base: poorly compacted fill or water washing soil out from under the slab. Any lasting fix has to address the base, not just the surface — that's how we approach every repair.
